Whether you love spending hours perfecting your makeup everyday, or you just want a quick 5-minute routine to look more awake, concealer is hands-down the best product to have in your makeup bag.

Lets take a look at the benefits of concealer:

How to choose a concealer:

The perfect concealer shade can be overwhelming to match, because there are SO many options. However, you want to make sure you are picking a shade that is one or two shades lighter than your complexion. A great tip I was taught, is to test the shade out on your inner fore-arm. Don't forget to have a winter, and summer shade on deck for when the seasons change!

For me, I have always used my fingers to apply my concealer, because the heat from my ring ringer blends it out the best. However, many love to use beauty blenders, as well as a small concealer brush!

Best high-end concealer:

My favorite high-end concealer has got to be the the Tarte Shape Tape. This is a flawless, full-coverage concealer that gives a matte finish while instantly brightening your face. This is going to successfully hide stubborn acne, and hide wrinkles and pores. I absolutely love this concealer and have been using it for almost six years!

Best drug-store concealer:

My favorite drug-store concealer is the Elf Camo concealer. I found this concealer through one of my favorite beauty influencers, and am so happy I did. While I love my Tarte Shape Tape, I wanted to find a more affordable alternative for when i'm traveling/ on-the-run. This is a SERIOUS dupe for the Shape Tape, and I need you all to try it out! This concealer is going to give your skin a hydrating boost, while also giving a full-coverage look and is crease-proof!
