Balms Away

 Welcome back everyone!

Today we are talking cleansing balms woohoo! For years, I have always struggled to have the energy to take my makeup off at the end of a long day and I really dreading the stinging and burning makeup wipes caused. Makeup wipes always left my face feeling extremely oily and gross and red as a tomato. I tried every brand you could think of like the O.G. Neutrogena, Ponds, Simple, Cetaphil, Aveeno, Garnier; you name it i've tried it and it still left me burning.

Last year I was introduced to the world of cleansing balms, and my life has forever changed for the better. Cleansing balms are oil-based makeup removers that dissolve makeup without stripping your skin. They even help to take off stubborn waterproof formulas and sunscreens. It's safe to say that I will never use another makeup wipe while i'm still on this earth because they are that amazing. Now I know what you are thinking; "I dont want to put an oil based product onto my skin, wont that make me breakout even more". I am here to say with 100% confidence these products will help to unclog your pores and take every ounce of reside off your face, leaving you feeling refreshed and clean. I would show you before and after pictures comparing my face before and after using wipes versus balms, but i'll save you the trauma. Just trust me, my face has healed so much!

Now, i'm going to share some of my favorite cleansing balms with you guys!

So to start off my all-time favorite cleansing balm:

1. Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm

How much: $36.00

Where to get: Sephora, Farmacy website, Amazon

This product has a scent of papaya and ginger, but don't fear they also have a scent-free version as well. What's also great is that this entire container can be rinsed and recycled too!

My second favorite cleansing balm:

2. CeraVe Makeup removing Cleanser Balm

How much: $13.99

Where to get: Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, Ulta, Amazon

This product is scent-free and a little less oily to the touch, but works great! It is also a great affordable option that can be easily found in stores.

And lastly, my third favorite cleansing balm:

3. Clinique take the day off cleansing balm

How much: $36.00

Where to get: Ulta, Sephora, amazon, Clinique website

This product has been around for a while, but it is just starting to gain great popularity with the increase of balms being made! It is tried and true and another great scent-free option.

I am so excited to have shared one of my all-time favorite beauty products with you guys, and I cannot wait to hear all about your experiences using the balms! Also, I know the prices might seem a little high, the smallest amount of product goes a very long way. You want to use about a quarter size amount when using the products.

Happy cleansing!! Cheers!
